Default Insurance question

Can anyone name companies that request accidents/convictions in the last three years, not five?

Confused.com etc are no use - need individual company names please

Can anyone help?

Churchill (and other brands owned by the RBS group, eg Direct Line, Privilege) ask for 3 years for accidents and 5 years for convictions.

I expect Tesco does the same as I think they use the same "quote engine".

I hope that's at least half useful for you!

thanks

convictions are the bigger issue - really want a three year 'limit' on those

(we are talking SPs not Drink, Dangerous or anything silly)

May be worth trying a broker as well as they may have had people ask the same question as you!

I don't know if it's still the case but I was with Liverpool Victoria for a few years and they weren't interested in speeding convictions at all.

I thought it was odd that they didn't ask when I was filling out the application on line, phoned them up to check and they said they only wanted to know if I'd been banned for something other than speeding.

One of the reasons I always use a broker for insurance - they can do the legwork for this kind of thing.

Try Chris Knott.
