( Since he came to power over 71 tax rises under the radar and we are still broke. Sold our gold at silly prices, raided everyone's pension by 5-10%.

And recently raised taxes on petrol/ diesel.
Cut VAT by 2% and then raise duty by 2%. So any business cannot claim the VAT back. Genius - Another stonking tax rise.


Sadly - we are in the economic shitter for the next 20+ years now.

It doesn't matter who gets voted in now, or the next 3 terms.


There is only 1 way to get out of the debt hole. And spending more money isn't the answer

Well, it is for the moment; expanding the money supply to support the banking system. I hate the idea, but avoiding a lasting depression is crucial. If there was a way of letting banks go bust and saying "tough shit - you're all under arrest" I'd be up for it. It would certainly learn the rest of the cretins in the boardrooms. But it would be a mess.

Debt expansion is the short-term solution. Trouble is, paying it all back afterwards.
