1 isn't prime (in some definitions) ..

I've often told people I'll beat them using only odd numbered gears .. just to wind them up.

[QUOTE=moff,Jun 28 2007, 05:25 PM]I personally would not touch the Z4C 3.0.

I have been put off non M Z4's by the Z4 3.0i. It was awful on less than perfect roads, whereas the 130i felt a lot more assured on the same roads, even with 18" run flats.

The Z4M does not use run flats or have the same electronic steering, but still does get criticised for the B road handling.

I need to drive one too.

I just fancy something a bit crazy next. I think it depends on how much of a beating my wallet can take! I have specced a new 130i M Sport and it came to about

Thanks

My plan is still on track... I plan to get a test drive in the next few months. No rush for me yet as my current car is leased. I can't afford a new one, but this is good for me as there will be more cars available when I want one.

I would like something a bit different, like white or a whacky interior e.g. black exterior with the yellow/black interior!

I have just found out that the BMW UK Used Car Manager is a close client of my companies, so I willbe making a few calls soon!

Found some pics on the main Cars forum:

I think they have shown this in a terrible colour - white or black would look alright.

Still not sure about the front, they should have made this more coupe like and sorted the front lights. Going more coupe-ish would have clashed with the Z4 Coupe though.

I think a 6 month old zmc is a bit of a bargain really. Last time I looked they could be had for 36/38 (low mileage and good spec).
The old one was a bit of a dark horse too, not sold in big numbers but a scout through used examples still seem to put a 2000 model at around 18k depending on condition, i think they were around 36 new back then (not 100%). Thats some pretty good depn on a 7 yr old car.

I think that looks alright actually, but I agree with you on the front lights, they need to be less '3 Series' like.
