Good thinking re reverse though MQ.

I'm sure I'd have sat there like a rabbit in headlights as he ploughed into me.

Well done avoiding him !

The hill looked fun but with a BMW sliding towards you maybe not

FWIW I can confirm BMW's on low profile run flats do seem to be the worst tyres ever in these conditions but everyone knows that

Oh honestly, how vain was he not to have proper footwear? Even myself with a penchant for heels has been practically living in her Timberlands the last few weeks. The one time I didn't I fell and still have the bump on my shin to show for it!
Well done MQ for your patience and tolerance.
I find the performance of my Timberland boots on icy surfaces rather disappointing.

Quick thinking MQ but then we don't call you Mistress Quickly for nothing

Young lad came in to me today to ask if he could borrow a pool car as his alternator went last night - he was wearing only shorts and a t-shirt and had to sit and wait for recovery

I am wearing my Alfred Sargent Brogues with Goodyear welted Commando soles made from very hard rubber, they are the dogs wots its in this weather and bite into the ice like a set of Jack Russels teeth

I am consistently (over two years now) impressed by the stupidity of your collegues.

Where do you work?

I'll stay in a different county...
