BMW E36 project
Firstly, about what cars I own and secondly that S2000 ownership has any connection to forum posting privileges.
The latter is far more important.
The forum should do everything it can to increase traffic from car enthusiasts, not discriminate on the basis of car ownership.
Misinformed digs such as yours undermine that objective.
Back on topic, I hope someone has told Mikey his Macca is pointless and that he is likely to be serving time for speeding soon.
Poor sod must be wondering how he could have made such a silly purchase.
Haha
It probably is "too quick for the road"
Everyone has different requirements. When i bought the M3 i needed a family car as the missus had a Golf which was a bit too small for that. She now has a cashcow +2 and so that requirement is struck off my list
I'd only buy a fast estate if i had dogs or 2 kids or something.
the SLS would be great fun i imagine, if somewhat (to me and i appreciate it's a minority view) heavy. I think a GTR would not be my bag either but i've not driven one so.....

That apparently derisory offer needs to be read in the context that eighteen months ago the same car was for sale for £110K.
The market is decidedly frothy and there is no way I am accepting a 50% or so hike simply down to silly prices flying around everywhere.
I can't believe the number of cars being offered/sold on a commission basis and that are aren't selling.
Very frustrating car shopping atm. So many knob dealers and weirdo sellers you wouldn't believe.
Roll on Brexit, the end of the world as we know it and a 50% drop in the value of cars.
I made that last percentage up.
Everyone else seems to be doing it...

We wont exit imo
But the sentiment is bang on. Cheap money means silly people are making silly decisions. MBs porka is a case in point. I bet half those cars or more are financed. Idiocy to think thats a safe loan at 130% of new price.

I am really surprised it hasn't sold.
A few reasons - the fact it's in such good condition (most E36s now have starship mileage and/or have been badly neglected) and low mileage and also the prices being paid for some right old tat (all marques).
At this rate it's going to end up on blocks in storage.
