BMW i3
In this week's Autocar, Steve Cropley in his regular section 'A week in cars', gives some very favourable comments. And he concludes with:
'If any model is going to sell electric cars to those who actually pay for them, this it it.'
I keep looking, but as yet there are no used i3's to be found on Autotrader...

I saw my first one on the roads yesterday. I was surprised as to how tall it was. It looks huge on the road. and this is in Harrogate which is festooned with RR's Cayennes and X5's.
I took a call from my local BMW dealer yesterday; they have been very regular callers since my test drive.
I explained that no matter which way I did the spread sheet, the economics of an i3 simply didn't add-up for me... if it were half the price it might just make sense. The guy's answer to this was would a demo' be of interest?
Their (BMW UK's?) fleet of demo's will be available for sale in a few months time and they have scheduled a call to me. Who knows, the price might be right...
