Kinnell. So they would know if I replaced an auto dimming mirror with a hooky eBay jobbie? Basts.

Yours is E92 so probably not if it hasnt already thrown a fault?

The software to read faults/code and look at service history is ISTA for F series and Rheingold for E series both are OBD, the F series like my 435D is an ENET cable available for £10 its different for E series.

If you dont want to get into the software (which can be dangerous) Carly app for Android offers easy to use interface and suffice for most!

Both pieces of software can do diagnosis, tests and resets etc.

I remember cursing the old Volvo 245's analogue dash warnings of dead bulbs. Way to go

I was amused that they do Carly for Benz!

Presumably for Borgward too, in the fullness of time.
