Better value than the FD2 for sure.
Since when have you been driving in F1?

The image is the problem for me (Chilled drives one for fecks sake!).

But the price vs image equation is starting to come +ve!

But what about that 111R you were hankering after!?!
Without want to go off topic too much i would still like an Elise.

But head is telling the heart get a road car for the road and a caterham for trackdays instead of buying something and trying to get it do both.

Which means i would need something reasonably practical for the road that i can still enjoy driving quickly, particularly if children appear on the horizon in the future.

The S still fits that description with the exception of the passenger airbag not being easily disabled but i want a change. I've had S2000's for 7 years now and i fancy something different. M3 fits the brief fairly well.

Even though chilled has one the difference is i'd make one look good!

You can all go to hell.

The M3 is a fantastic road car.

If you have the budget get the new M3 saloon. Solves all problems.

MMmm...

Another angle there about one good road car and then hiring Cats.
And a valid one too.

Smashing up the family saloon on track won't make life too easy.
Especially if its your only kiddie transporter.
This exact thought went through my head last night.

Wrong time to try and shift the S2000 though, but the R26 prices are very bouyant and I could recoup almost all of my purchase.
Puts a few of the Reno depreciation slating merchants back in their boxes too.

So.

M3 Coupe.

What options should I look for?

And is the box choice on a 50k mile/£20k car important?

Bollocks, I know quite a few owners as well as myself without any diff issues.

Plenty out there so get the colour combo you want.

The only thing missing from mine is sat nav and I wish I had it but it's not the end of hte world. I've got Harmon Kardon which is worth getting but not paying for.

Otherwise electric adjustable heated seats, climate control, folding mirrors tend to be standard.
