Default Breakdown service

I decided to throw caution to the wind and not renew the warranty on my Legacy and it's just dawned on me that that's where the breakdown cover came from

The only special requirement I've got is cover for the trailer which seems to come as standard with all of them so I'm mainly interested in quality of service.

Any recommendations, experiences?

Well if I make the wrong decision and don't get good value for money and outstanding service, I hope you can all live with yourselves.

Well Any of the big three should be ok - AA, RAC and Green Flag.
Porsche assist use RAC so that is my recommendation.

AA have nice yellow vans.
RAC used to be the knights of the road.
Green Flag means you can go into the sea and have a swim.

I've always been with the AA.
Never had any complaints when I've used them, and they almost always have got to me within an hour.
When they would take longer they would ring back and let me know.

Although I haven't used them for quite a few years, so they might be crap now.

I used to be with the RAC but I get the AA with my bank accounts for free and I have to say, they are excellent.

One of them even gave the 7 a lookover after I'd done the brakes as he was out to sort the battery on the elise for me.

It's a Subaru, I just need it for when I leave the interior light on overnight

I'll regret typing that

Thanks people, you'll sleep well tonight.

Britannia Rescue

I have needed to use them, in the most trying of circumstances, and they were excellent

I use Britannia and they are excellent.

Called on their services several times and never waited more than 20 minutes for them to arrive.

Level of cover is second to none, but then you get what you pay for.
