2008 E92 M3 - 650BHP Supercharged GTS Replica (2008)

Nice replacement for you - and still manual shift!

Ha ha saw that. I imagine it's quite quick. £10k for supercar pace. The yanks seem to go forced a lot and the motor seems quite resilient.
However not for me
I've done some extended pondering and with the few changes to my M I think I'll be sticking with it and the S in the med term.
We went over to lincs at Xmas and the heavy clutch aggravated a leg injury I had, the harsh ride was also a bit of a mare on the agricultural roads. That made me think twice but I can't think of anything that does as much as I want aside from 2 cars!
The engine is massively lovely. That alone is a huge draw for me....
Auto? For girls

I don't geddit. In the same few column inches: "I buggered my leg" and auto "DCT is for girls"
As for the harshness of the ride I told you already Jason 18s is the difference.
Stops my tits wobbling anyway (oops who's a girl now)
p.s. what's gone wrong with the
site police? I can say buggered
p.p.s. Nice activity frame in the back for the nipper I notice, though the 19" wheels might still throw you off the ruts in Lincs.

In some ways I think DCT was its best and worst quality for me.
Such a brilliant system, and I liked the shove on up shifts, and noise from the M exhaust on downshift... But I did feel a little disconnected from the car.
It's great to see the new M4 with a manual option, but I just hope it's a new box. I've never driven a BMW with a nice one. My old E46 328i felt like it was actually made from plastic.

The manual box is crap but agree Mark the DCT disconnects a little - and no bad thing for an increasingly absent minded
- but the shifts are quicker more reliable (in my case) and the sound track is supremely Playstation
My 320i E30 company car circa 1986 had a good box, no impediment, snick snick. In the E46 they went backwards and the scuttle shake in the cabrio gave everyone the jelly wobbles. I too *really* hope at long last they can do a decent manual box in the M4
Jason do you think that this 'Japan Red' suits me better?
(Hope it's the pic not the car IYSWIM)
