The CCTV was on and the station staff said the police are welcome to come and take a look. I'm pushing this as they said they would prosecute which would be great. I care less about the money and more about making this c@#t suffer tbh.

my idea of this would be sightly different though...

extendable aluminium curved pole (like roof bars design with also the rubber part) that connects to your front and rear wheel (to a clip-in, patented wheel nut,replacing one of your normal nuts.Key locked to remove), & shaped to angle towards the door.Think of like a semi-circle with dampers on the reverse (foam, soft rubber or similar) to protect your paintwork. Dragons Den anyone?

Door dents bring out the worst in motorists behaviour. Jealousy, clumsiness, anger, stupidity. If we were only all so well behaved, we wouldn't act this way. If I have a 20k car as my daily to park in public car parks, at least the doorshox effergy gives some hope to the careless twonks.

 

Just needs a sensor to activate a 500W sound system so when it gets hit it lets out for at least 30 seconds "WHATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT FECKING DOOR YOU CARELESS TWUNT" or something similar.
