a car for 2012
i reckon car park spaces are getting smaller as cars are getting wider.
i have to park my ausie thing away from a store so i can park in a space with no cars either side so i can open the door to get out.
which is why i usually shop at costco as the spaces are much wider
i also shop at home bargains but thats only for bird seed and other birdfood related items....the only issues i get there are the locals who say stuff like.."yo bra,das a mint car init" to which i reply "you knows it bra"

sounds nice. this is a station car park which gets full
i have the police coming over later, the BTP are also purportedly on it today too. lets see.
failing all this i need a hacker to get me the data. i have seen a rack of servers in the station office so i could just nick that i guess. it's about as big as me though.
the alternative is a bribe, followed by execution of the suspect.

just don't call it a bribe... an out of court settlement, gentlemans agreement, anything but a bribe
Good luck, but I fear you will be disappointed. Even if you get sight of who did it, I'd be very surprised if plod would be interested. I assume you hope the offender will be made to pay for the damage? Which don't get me wrong is EXACTLY what should happen, but I can't see our system working for you I am afraid, but I sincerely hope it does!

British Transport Police were good, however the CCTV was not so no result.
However i visit that car park a fair bit and know how big the bumper plastic on their door is and how high it is. I think on this basis i will eventually find the offender unless it was a one off visit.
Given the crapness of the cctv i will then have a similar accident involving my boot and their door
The normal police were totally useless, as ever. But then we knew that, they are busy setting up speed cameras so they can pay themselves massive pensions and do sweet FA. cnuts.

it sounds like a crap design, cant cover the entire car park
never mind..
i think it was one of these but need to find one to measure

then just decapitate the owner to relieve my annoyance

I have to say though, after owning an E90 the sides of these cars are a bit "sharp" with these styling ridges flying up the sides of the car. More so on E91's with the bigger doors.
I was fortunate enough to escape any door ding incident but although it looks like a jest with those side bumper doorshox things, its a worthwhile consideration.
The one thing that ironically put me off from the 2dr Coupe BMW's were the heavy doors. They open very wide and easy to fly open in the wind.
I'll keep an eye on the news in case your anger boils over
Simmer... its just a car

indeed, principle annoys, plus the fact this was a hard hit has made me wonder whether deliberate
Smart repair has quoted £140 as i've managed to polish out the scuff and just the scratch remains
