The surge.. Like it
Apparently these undertrays often take a whack and are not cheap, i'll talk to them tomorrow, think they are clip in bits.
Local is Sytner so might pop in, i'm taking it off for now. Got the S in for rustproofing next friday so a packed schedule

I do like the pic up there so some minor tinkering may be done

So far two positive comments already from strangers.. Including "bloody hell that looks a machine, how quick is it?". Didnt expect that with a BM.

I wont use the satnav so not fussed, it is all as you say though

Personally I would cry 'warranty' at Sytner and get them to be your friend in tackling the boys at Stoke ... although that is a nice razz down the A50 and back that has got to be begging to get clocked for speeding

edit: rusty says it can't be done, BMW upgrade only

Your iDrive1 satnav mapping is still DVD based (held). It's the fkin hard-drive 'improved' iDrive2 from BMW and I am guessing they took something back inside the opsys to f@#k the hackers Rusty even replied back to me a second time saying it is no go (This is my latest view, which could change)

Conflicting intel from here and here

Haha Winnebago? Satnav no point as the behemoth won't fit our main roads never mind Norfolk lanes

Looks complex Rog. I'm ordering from rusty and will let you know how I get on. The actual nav is OK, just the post codes aren't there

The under tray is still flappy , havent figured how to get it off

As I said I think you will be ok because the satnav functionality was all outboard i.e. on DVD in your car.

I still marvel (!) at the BMW mentality that refuses to understand we use postcodes to find streets, their half cock hierarchical search city-street (which they assume you know and you must enter) is just not how we use it. Here, postcode is the magical key to find a location, both city and street. The Germanic brain 'verstehe nichts'.

Under tray I would ask my local dealer for help as it might not be safe to drive back to Stoke
