Default Car SNow Socks

Don't know if these are any good but seem like quite a decent price at 2 for £32 so might be handy for some folk:

These appear to be Silknet snow socks.

I've done a bit of digging and I can't seem to find any reviews on this particular brand on the internet, although a lot of the national papers also have these on offer, but not at the Groupon price.

The brand that I have heard of is Autoock and apparently they are very good as you can see in the video below which must have been posted by someone on here given the username

Reading the small print 30 mph max
How many people stick to 50 mph max on skinny emergency space savers ?
I predicted a few "issues"

Nice vid
Not sure giving an S2000 enough grip to force snow into rads is a great demo

What speed are you planning on doing in the snow

I'm not but I can just see people using these to get out of the snow than roaring off down the motorway with them still on

They will disintegrate if you use them off-snow for more than a few miles.

But they are an inexpensive way of getting you moving if you are too damned poor for winter tyres.

So how's everybody getting on with their snow socks and winter tyres this year?

You don't have the tedious warm-up time with winters and you can very quickly drive it like you stole it.

Karen keeps getting back in the 'Lude & spinning up the (summer)fronts. You rapidly get used to the margin!
