The Smart Roadster thread had me thinking, so I was out on a test drive in a Brabus today.

The tail shot out going at a very moderate speed on a roundabout, felt nicely balanced and easy enough to control though.

Saleswoman gave me a telling off though

(Still has a pants gearbox and it's too noisy on the motorway btw :>)

obviously the pmsl doesnt help if the driver is crap and rams the back of another car.

Thought they minimised the risk of that by driving 1" off the bumper of the car in front, so no speed differential can build up.

Middles, like it!

If you can't take the heat, sell new 'houses' instead!

just seen a totally ****ed black cayman s sitting all alone on the side of the a470.

oh dear.
Its actually the A470 syndrome. No matter how good a driver car, youhave/are, you have a higher chance of crashing due to the constant pointless roadworks that are always going on on it. Bloody RCT trying to spend their budget!

I was passed by a TVR Chimera on the A1 today doing 90 (I was doing 60 in the Mazda with a boot full of amplifiers), there was so much standing water I was half expecting to see it crashed further down the road.

Done about 7 hours driving today, all in the Mondeo, did between 60 and 90 all day.

Well apart from the mph bit due to rubber necking of an incident on the otherside of the road on the M1 which made our side do 5mph

God I hate that
