Definitely Evo, you've had loads of scoobs, I still pine after an evo and a skyline but as I want the S aswell I'm knackered for the time.

Go for the Skyline R33 GTR

.....OK... Scoobs very tidy but oh so chav, so probably best turning to the dark side and having a taste of the EVO!

They both go like shit off the proverbial shovel so just buy the one that floats your boat

Bibbs, have you driven one?

Marc, S and a scoob / evo and I would be most happy

Slickline, the R33 is far too old hat for my liking. I nearly went for one a few months back but glad I didnt now. For the same money you can have a nearly new one of the above!

The confusion continues...

Drove a Scoob a while back .. prefered my MR2 .. so I bought an MR2 Turbo.

I think Ford have won a few rallys with their Focus .. get one of those

Scooby. Looks cool in a weird way. Never did like the look of the Evo, and they seem to get worse with each update.

Go for the one that is in the better condition and needs the least amount of work on it.

Which one is easier to get more hp out of?

The EVO stan. The fact it has a front mount intercooler makes it much easier. The scoob is at its limit at 350 bhp with a top mount.

I would not look to tweak either of the cars though, as they have all the right mods on there right now!

The servicing on the EVO is what would put me off. That and the absolutely hideous plasticy crap fragile easy to scratch interior!

If you were sat in traffic in the EVO and looked around at the interior you could be forgiven for thinking that god was trying to punish you for something! Obviously you don't buy a car like that for the interior but they could at least make a pretence at an effort.

My replacement for the S when I get bored is probably going to be one of these http://www.type-25.co.uk/

IMOHO the evo is just as chav as a scoob but its rarity makes it better in terms of appeal.
