My visually illiterate eye can spot some similarities between this and the DS5.

A start for them is to make something cool and fast.

Other firms seem to manage to make desirable cars and the punters didn't need to be shown hypotheticals.

There's a shitload of cars out there which people desire. And amazingly, the manufacturers are selling them. Crazy!

No one aspires to own a Citroen.

In one of my previous jobs I worked at, there was a call centre full of young kids (18 - 30). I'd chat to them and I'd ask what car they'd like to get if they could.

It was the women who had drive and focus when it came to cars and they wanted Audis, preferably a convertible. If they couldn't have an Audi, a Volkswagen would do.

The blokes just regurgitated Top Gear and liked the word 'Turbo'.

So, VAG is where it's at. No one cares what it looks like as long as it isn't offensive. It's about being seen and being able to tell people you have an Audi.

As it stands, people aren't going to want to brag about owning a Citroen, thus the only way people will buy is because of some crazy 0% for 5 years £150PCM deal.

Anything with beech wood interior gets my vote.

Interesting storyline too. Innocent stone skipping gent gets fondled by a woman whilst waiting for his Citroen uber to turn up.

Citroen went bust in 1974, really and eventually became merged with Talbot.

I'd prefer the XE because they wasted all the money on the engineering and there was nothing left for the interior. Bit like an old Honda.

This thing is just overstyling a recycled 508. I may change my mind IF the new suspension is anything advanced, but I suspect it won't.

Wood is only good for making trees and is not to be trusted in automotive construction. It is only thus more ersatz over-decoration, like the Contac that would peel off the IP of a Mark III Cortina GXL.
