I considered a Brera before I got the S, but at the time I would have gone for the 3.2 GT - very good looking car, useable back seat and cheaper than a Brera.
In the end, the lure of lightweight, 2 seats, and open top motoring won
I think Clarkson said though, that everyone really wants Alfas to be brilliant.
The world would certainly be a better place with good Alfas in it.

Part of the problem with the 159 is it is so gorgeous. Only the Ities could make such a ridiculous front overhang look elegant.
It just means when you drive it, it brings you closer to tears.
I know there is now a handling kit that attempts to get the unsprung weight down to something sensible.
Honestly, after the 'Lude, the Brera 3.2 drives like a Eurocargo.
