Default New front badge on MY2003

Just got my car back from the bodyshop - a minor touch-up job on the front bumper and driver side wheel arch after brief altercation with MGF in car park. They've done a pristine job, but I notice I have a new Honda badge on the front of my S - rather than the original badge, it's been replaced with a badge which has a silver background, white H and clear glass over the top.

I'm not sure whether or not this is correct - I've paid for a set of new badges as I needed a new S2000 badge for the side of the car - so can anyone tell me, have they changed the badge on the new MY2003, or has my dealer put some 'other' badge on there ?

Sounds like they have put a my 00/01 badge on, the 02/03 badges are just a sliver H whereas the old ones were incased in plastic with the body colour as the background and are raised more.

I can confirm that my new MY2003 S has a good old Silver badge - Silver H in a silver box - no background - straight through to the paint, and no laquer.

Yep, that's what we're looking for.

Took it up to question with the dealer, they are querying with Honda today. Looks like they have been sent the wrong badge kit.

4 months old and 2200 miles now. looks even cleaner now.
Spent another 3 hours caressing her with Zymol. Hands now smell gorgeous.

Before anyone says it, its in no way erotic rubbing wax and oil over such a beauty
