Rumour has it that initially only the high end AMGs will get the 6.3..... the SLK55 probably won't get it for a few years (the SLK55 forum guys have seen development details showing the 5.5 will be in production well into 2008).

Not that it needs more power!...... shame they can't be arsed to develop a manual gearbox to go with the monster engine!!!!!

 

I drove the SLK 55 AMG , 493 bhp recently. It was my mums friend , he liked it so much he bought 2 over 200,000 quid .
