I bought a Volvo V70 a few weeks, nearly 2000 miles through Europe over the past 2 weeks and no complaints from the misses when she finds the S a bit too hard for trips up Narf. Bought the D5 2003, seats are truly like arm chairs with good adjustability and lumbar support. I gather the post 2004 cars have even better seats. The V70, immaculate condition (better than my S even!) one owner and 108k on the clock was £3050.

An alternative would be a pressure sore cushion (Roho and the like) to offer more even support to spread the pressure off her Coccyx. Or even a tempur type cushion for a chair?

she has to have a relatively new car in order for her company to chuck her car allowance at her, hence the recent change

so far the list is

Qashqai
C-Max
Kuga
Vulva something
CRV but i think too big/expensive
E-Vock

Try all them. You will trim it to xc60 and evock and you will buy the evock.

Trust me. Will save you a lot of wandering about and testing. The rest of the pack are nowhere near those two.

You missed mazdas and kia. Both of which were shit in comparison.

XC60 is impressive ... IMO - only been in one though but liked it.

Its all about comfort with all else secondary. However it has to not break down (french)

Never owned a volvo. The evock looks amusingly contrived but i expect they would bum me at service time.. Whoever services 'em

Nissan is fave atm

Have you seen the view through the back of the Evock?

I'm sure your Maude is capable, however my other half would bin it backwards parking up (if the reverse sensors failed!) It's a bit squashed to look out of. Trendy like when the new Mini was launched and ive gotta admit, theyre a bit gorgeous looking. Really grown on me.

Perhaps as useful as an X6? Probably... But at least its got real 4wd

She most certainly is not Tony. Backed into a bright yellow skip on our drive once and has scuffed 3 alloys on my S without noticing (claims)

Maybe a defender with bars would suit

So RR is reliable and French cars aren't ? ROFL.

Personally I'd go for the CR-V but I admit I'm biased .
