5/10 min walk to bus stop, 5/10 (sometimes more) wait 20mins on bus (in traffic jam) on a good day (not many good days). bus station outside office so 35+ mins.

The AEC Routemaster was a superb piece of design, from the rationalised monocoque construction to the through-flow ventilation.

That's my interest in Pubic Transport exhausted.

As usual, I agree with Gad.

I did it for a week once - I felt like a Patrick McGoohan in a remake of "Prisoner" minus the Lotus 7.

I invariably drive now.
