Some of the older cars I looked at had some seriously worn looking dashes - I guess the plasic had been in the sun too long.

I guess this could freshup up the car... maybe?

Depends on the price.
If you're on a budget so you buy an older car you might not want to spend money on this.

Might be nice to do it in red if it could match a red leather interior.. or it might just look like a squashed strawberry.

Looks very Australian to me , and lets face it they are not leaders in sartorial elegance are they!

On balance i prefer a bit of Patina and maybe fad as a result of age, to match my beige slacks, cardigan and pipe. I have just ordered my check zip up slippers for the winter, great feel for driving to!

Ideal for kit cars, 70's Fords and the like, otherwise in the 21st century mega tasteless and naff.
Don't do it.

So there's competition already its seems, not a niche market.

I dont like flocking, birds dont like flocking, so I'm flocking out of here and for that reason I'm out.

Thanks for the comments guys. The costs vary obviously on what you want flocked and how big and colour. Most companies will charge your £100 for a dash. Cleaning is easy with a vacuum or cloth, flocking has anti static properties. I'm still learning myself. I will get some pics up soon.
