Default Dimwit fuse question

Can anyone tell me how to remove these fuses from a VAG (Seat Ibiza) engine bay fuse box?

I know how sappy it is to ask, but I've undone the nut and various other bits, but nothing has come loose and I don't want to force it.

Cheers in anticipation......

It's not a fuse - it's a distro block and IIRC they are prone to melting. I think you only replace the whole thing.

That makes sense. It does look like it could be a single unit and I wondered if I needed to undo all the stuff connected to it.

Thanks Fess.

Never seen one like that before I'd have expected it to look like the one UF linked to - with actual fuses with a 10mm nut at each end.

I think that's how the older versions were, Ben. Mine does look like a single 'panel' though.

It sort of makes sense, but at the same time makes no sense at all!

Old Model: Fuse blows = melts the whole unit = Buy new unit
New Model: Fuse blows = Buy new unit

I see what they've done there

Had one go on my Golf and had to buy a new unit, so been there first hand.

Yes, exactly that.

Thankfully, it's all under warranty so there's no point in trying any harder to fix it myself. Looks easy enough to check if it is the distro thingy, but whatever the problem is, Seat can pay for it.
