Default Disposing of old tyres

I've got a number of used tyres knocking around and will hopefully get rid of some of them with the wheels I'm selling but it will stil leave a few.

I understand I can't just take them down the tip, can I take them to my local kwik fit and pay for them to despose of them?

Or shall I just take them down the road and chuck them in the sea?

Take them down to your local marina and carefully rest them against a boat, then just casually walk away.

Up here you are allowed to dispose of tyres at the local tip but you are limited to one or possibly two (not sure) tyres at a time, might be a similar arrangement in your area?

I could only take two tyres to my local tip at a time. So I left two with them, drove out and back in agian and dropped the other two off. The bloke wasn't very happy with him, but he didn't tell me I couldn't do that. I then drove off looking smug

Drop them off at your local tyre fitting place. My local tyre fitters just have a big pile of tyres stacked along the wall. I don't think they noticed two more the next day

The poor bugger who left the next day with LESS tread on his "new" tyres did though
