Does 2 blokes in a convertible ever not look wrong
Along the same lines as all 4 seat convertibles looking wrong....
I spotted a few cars yesterday with the roof down, occupied by 2 blokes, trying very hard to look cool / smooth, and failing miserably. You know the types, off on a lunch break, shirts unbuttoned, sunglasses on, arm resting on the door, looking quite serious.
I had to laugh
Anyone else notice this?

i hate taking 'men' out with me in the car.
just so gay....although at least my S is not lady boy blue
Cooper S convertible is the best...or Beetle convertible...men in general should not drive those cars, nor should they offer lifts to other males.

In small convertables like the s2k, mx5, boxster etc it looks very gay. In something like an SL not so gay in something like one of those ridiculous Peugeot, Ford folding hardtops its very difficult to look gayer.
Unfortunatley here in the UK most convertables have an element of campness and look at me about them. It didnt bother me but I was aware that my mates thought it when I had both s2k and boxster. They now just think im a w#@ker.

My mate at work wont get in the car with me if I put the roof down. Fearful of the comments we would get
I did it the other day after we left with the roof up just to embarass him with "Alexander Burkes Bad Boys"! playing on the stereo full blast

ICGAF! Thats what I bought the car for; roof down driving!
If I have a guy next to me, pluck it.
If I have a woman, its better. If I get to drive my car, VTEC it and have the roof down then I am happy!
