89mph in a 70 on the M74 yesterday. Fixed penalty, 3 pts and

Depends - one transgression seems acceptible - two would seem to indicate higher "risk".

Just got my licence back with an SP50 fixed penalty and notified my insurers. No increase in premium

I've now got 6 pts, both fixed penalties, one SP30 and one SP50. No increase in premium on either occasion. Phew! I consider myself pretty fortunate.

Right foot is a liitle less heavy though, another nick and there's no buffer
