Craner is plenty scary, but about 5 corners later and you're back again!

Too short.

Depends on your preference really.

Lydden Hill is only a mile long and there's only 4 corners but a lap is so 'busy' you don't get time to think.

Easy to learn, difficult to master

See Combe is shorter in length, but I love it. Very fast and challenging.

yeah, i saw that - good news, but why is it in the state it's in? bad management?
It's not because it's been left to delapidate, it's halfway through a rebuild, if you see what I mean.

Donington got F1 on the back of promised rebuilds.
Donington left Moto GP go so they could do the work
Sivlerstone gets Moto GP
Bernie pulls the rug from under Donington
Bernie gives F1 back to Silverstone

Donington left to pick up the pieces with no Moto GP and no F1. Thankyou letter to Burnie still in the post apparently.

And yes, I know Bernie isn't to blame for Donington not having the finances in place.
But it wouldn't surprise me if he simply played Donington to get Silverstone to pull their fingers out and do the work they'd been promising for years. Luckily Silversone has the extra income stream of 100,000 bikers to help them foot the repair bill.

Sad state of affairs really. I think alongside Mallory its my top circuit to drive in the UK, agree with the earlier poster that the Craner Curves are scary as anything, especially in the wet.

I just hope they can get the problems fixed and bring back a race school to the track, it hasnt been the same since Jim Russell left. Track fees were also too high last time I checked.

Looking forward to visiting the Donington Collection again soon though.

Please tell me they havent knocked down the hospitality building in the centre of the circuit next to the trees (overlooking the Craner Curves).

Also bring back the Dunlop Bridge.
