Dremel
It must be Dremel-week. I purchased one yesterday from Amazon who appeared to have a good deal on the 300 -30.
The multi-vice and the flexi-drive seemed sensible accessories - a bit overkill for buffing my cuticles... but there'll be other uses I'm sure.

confirming the above, especially Steven M s experience
had the black and decker one... broke. Replaced with dremel and still going strong. Don't give it too much abuse but I haven't seen anything I thought would be more durable (other than an Angle Grinder)

My black and Decker one also broke after about 6 hours use - it actually blew up with sparks flying out of the vents!!
Just bought a Clarke Rotary tool from Machine Mart.
Comes in a nice case with lots of accessories including the flexi drive thing.
£32 and it's going well - even used it to make a tool for removing Mk5 Golf brakes!

I made the mistake of buying a B&Q or Focus (I forget which) own brand version - the whole lot including stand, case and flexi attachment cost the same as the flexi attachment alone for the dremmel.
With good reason.
With good reason.
I burned out my Li-Ion cordless Dremel recently.
The tranny blew on the board and I couldn't ID it, and there are no circuit drawings about.
So a a new PCB procured for ease from online specialist shop, was quite expensive.
I think I was holding my hand over the air vents though and cooked it.
Be aware that its VERY easy to do this - I was cutting some SS strips so working it hard.

Dremel is made by Bosch as far as I can remember Gad. We have a few Bosch tools and have always found them to be pretty good for the money. I'm a bit of a DeWalt 'fanboy' though but I don't know if they make a similar tool? Bulletproof isn't the word though.
depends what you are doing, dremmel are very good as an all rounder, i have had mine for years its got bits of plastic body missing but still goes strong. cutting discs are easy to snap, i find it better to buy the more expensive re enforced discs, they last much longer
if you want it for router type cutting there is Rotazip its a bit bigger but is a lot better at that type of work
