Default Driver training?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a suitable package for a driver training gift idea. My folks have suddenly come over all 'petrol head' and been out and bought thereselves RWD sporty cars and want to learn how to drive them properly. They come on track days with me and i think they have caught the bug....

Neither want a track day, but both are looking for some tuition in their own cars. I know the Carlimits days are highly recommended, but the price is a little high for me really as want to send them both? I have asked if they can tailor any packages to my budget, but does anyone else have any tips / ideas form pervious experiences.

Cheers.
Phil.

Where are you based?

How much do you want to spend?

http://motorsport-events.com/

I've used these guys no many occasions for their airfield based trackdays, and they also offer driver training sessions.

I recently received an email from them offering some instructor taster sessions for about £60 IIRC

They do most of their stuff in the West Country, as they are based in Bradford on Avon.

Regular events at Hullavington, Keevil and Colerne.

Give them a call and see what they'll do. 0844 873 6075

done.

4 x 10 minute session in their 135R Elise with tuition for the mesely sum of £120.

Natasha at motorsport events was really helpful and recommended this as the best for the circumstances really. Other options available, but this looks good value indeed.

If you want to pay a bit more then CAT driver training based at Millbrook - use your car and get loads of experience.

Done the Level 1 course with them and the drift day (thier Caterham) which was great fun. LLoyd and I were only 2 people on both occassions, so loads of 1:1 time which makes the day very intense and loads of fun. The gymkhana shoot out at the end where is all comes together is nice competitive edge (and I won he he he).

We are looking at some of this next year also but it's starting to get expensive now

You can get a 1to1 at an airfield like Keevil with Motorsport Events dot com.
Speak to Ed.

I gave the wife a day trip to Phil price Rally School.
And then spent all day wishing I could have a go!

Will bring back good memories.....

I might even have to cough up £30 and have a 10 minute blast myself....
