My wife has an old CRV which will soon be replaced with a new CRV.

It made my p*ss boil watching that, i don't think the TV has ever received such a barrage of expletive deleted, well not since Scooch graced my screen on Saturday night

A particular highlight for me was Mr Sergeant, hitting kick down in the big ol GMC in a 30 zone

(the fact that it is longer than most 4x4s seems to have escaped them too)

Still, it is economical at 20.9 mpg. I'm going for the heady heights of 21mpg. I dream of such a day....

I'm glad you lot felt the same. I thought JOhn Sergeant was a proper journalist but that was the most outrageous, unbalanced piece of journalism I've ever seen.

Made me want to go out and buy a 4x4 (never on my shopping list) in protest.

However, the three owners were idiots and like Kelk says, they should have made that woman reverse round a corner and turn the Accord Tourer in the road.

The test with the old Shogun was stupid - why not use a modern example, which is built on a monocoque insteazd of a ladder frame chassis, as that's more representative?

I AM going to complain to ITV. But then I AM also going to watch the one next week where Jo Brand looks at old people's driving, because I am convinced that is much more relevant in terms of road safety than 4x4s.

Absolutel garbage TV from a channel that should be banned from broadcasting. Everything it does is sh1t.

Carbon footprint, carbon neutral... twats. Earth is a closed system, you can't suddenly manufacture elements out of nothing, there's no more carbon now than there was in 8 million BC. Did any of these muppets study chemistry at school?!

So what was their verdict on the Lexus 450h?

Or the FIAT Panda 4x4?

Or the Ur-Quattro?

Perhaps we should ask the British Army to replace its Landies with Zafiras?

John Sargeant is a politics hack, so he spends his life anal-ysing total bullshit.

Has anyone seen the plot? I'm sure it was here earlier.

I seriously think the makers should be slapped as this sort of bollocks really does stir people up.

I drove a Land rover recently for the first time. I think I'm addicted.
