They've been doing this for years now.

Quite popular in Japan.

This one's based on an Accord I believe.

Looks a lot more credible than Ford's abortion, the X-Type.

Always wanted to see a Viewt.

Mitsuoka also make fake ADO16s (MG/Riley/Wolseley 1100) and other Rileys & stuff.

It's how I see most badge-engineered cars in the world, particularly VAG.
