my mate has an alfa gta so he took me for a breakdown.

results were,after a tunnel test.

s2000 has the best induction noise.

gta has a good alround sound.

r8 has the best exhaust note.except it is so fast it leaves it behind for other peeps to enjoy.

Why do people want to make their car a sheep in wolf's clothing?

It just shouts "I'm poor - I can't afford it and it's chipping away at me."
Much better to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.....a Q car
Always been fascinated by these going back to porsche engined Beetles etc.

I'm a big fan of wolves in sheep's clothing.

I always wanted a 6R4 performance standard metro ie visually not difference.

IN the same vein I can really appreciate phils2k's turbo nutter S2000. Although I don't really understand why he's done it

At the time I got the M3, I considered sticking a 316i badge on it.

But at the end of the day. If I want a better car, I buy it better, rather than change anything.

Years ago, before the debadging option, the Germans were fond of doing that!

Especially with the wonderfully bonkers W116 450SEL 6,9. A simple 280S badge and the car was a total Wolf im Scharfspelz. Probably saved weight too!

My brother recently purchased a E39 M5. It does shift a bit.

I like the Japanese idea - that cars are mandatorily written off every few years. I hope it catches on.
I agree.

And Honda have already started building in timed redundancy into their engines.
