Default e46 330d

Hi,

I've been offered a job and need to relocate, I'm looking at a couple of diesels budget is 4500 a e46 330d catches my eye the 201bhp version, anyone had one and any feedback? Will likely get it re mapped.

Do they do sport versions what line were they?

Cheers

I imagine there are m sport variants. It would mean pricey tyres though

A friend has a remapped one and gets in well with it. He has the m sport, 2004 ish I think. Gets about 35mpg but it's pretty fruity with the map. They wear 18's and the rears are 255 if you have the wider optional rims so rubber ain't cheap, but they look a but naff with small wheels but that's personal taste. Unsurprisingly the ride is pretty harsh... Nice motor though and good vfm.

Take the new 335d with m sport wheels, you are looking at £1k for a set of rubber... Crazy days? Same cost as the M3.
