Estate purchased :-)
Just purchased my new estate car to replace the Teg
04 318i SE Touring
Bought from BMW main dealer
1 owner
34k genuine miles
New discs and pads all round, tyres at 6mm, 13.5k til next service
Full BMW dealer warranty
£6600.
I get 2 weeks till I collect it to sell the Teg or they will give me £2400 for it.
And the best bit - unlike virtually every other 3 series touring of this age - it isn't silver!
If anyone wants a deal on a Teg let me know

That's fine, I work from home when it snows
The Accord isn't great either but it gets Amanda down to the train station
The Teg was actually pretty good in the snow with the Vredesteins on. But in reality it was too low to cope with what we had in Nov/December.

I'm happy to report that the car is as good as portrayed in the dealer's photos. No dents, scratches, very few stone chips and it has obviously been polished regularly by it's previous owner.
It's like a brand new car outside, inside and to drive. Managed 35mpg on my 80mph cruise back down the M74, so happy with that too. It's a bit odd driving a car with under 200bhp, but it's plenty fast enough for day to day pottering and motorway driving. Nice and quiet and comfortable after all those Type Rs too
Very glad I didn't go for the oil burner. Would have preferred a six pot, but the economy of the 2litre engine is a good compromise.
The only thing that has put me off BMW ownership is the fact that 99% of the punters in the showroom we bought the car from were complete Chavs looking at X5s and X6s.

Looks like a well cared for car though either that or a garage that actually pays someone to do a proper job of cleaning stuff up for sale. I like the touring, it's a nice shape and practical too, i would imagine more relaxing to drive than your other stuff
