MITSUOKA RYOGA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsuoka_Ryoga

I'm still none the wiser. It had Japanese import stickers on it

I had never heard of them, apparently they add bodies (not like that) to quite mainstream stuff. This may have been a primera underneath though clearly aping Jag

Apparently they did an MG based car but then flogged the rights

I saw a while back on TG when they holed up in China - they produce lots of "copy" cars. X5s are copied, even down to the distinguishing lights.
One day, fleabay will bag you a beemer, ship it over for £3.99 , just not what you thought it was ...

Yeah seen those

But this is Japan.. I held them to higher standards lol

My BMW loving mate confuses the two, but he had a Z4 and wondered why it was worth peanuts compared to my S2

Because it's shit mate, trailing arm suspension, 170bhp from a 2.2L and flattered warm hatches even at launch. Uninspiring in the flesh he sold an absolute unicorn condition car for about 6 bag.. even that, mint, 45k miles, had issues..

I wouldn't touch a Chinese car right now. I might get a Korean electric but not ice but then the only ice I would touch I think are Lotus or that NA GT4.. maybe lol
