I am certainly no chav, and have no desire to be. Any car can be made to look chavvy.
you would accept surely, that a lot of chavs DO drive EVOs (and Scoobs)?
more, pro rata than drive Skodas, say?
that's all some people are saying
and equally, you would surely accept that a very high percentage of the cars are modded quite considerably?
Main problem with the EVO 10 will be the depreciation in the current climate.
Get a good PCP / Contract Hire deal and it wouldn't be as much of an issue as at least the FGV would protect from any further sharp falls in depreciation.
I have been reading quite a few long term reviews and they all seem favourable, but none include the general running costs.
For the money I think my preference would be for my current car or an Audi S3. Where both lack the ultimate raw feel and excitement, both provide nicer enviroments, lower running costs, better residuals and good tuning potential.

S3???
I'd fall asleep at the wheel. You can't put an Evo and an S3 in the same conversation
An Evo buyer is looking for something a bit raw, a bit nuts, and doens't care about plastic interior. S3 is polar opposite... It's also a hatch isn't it?

A 135 is a good option... especially without the RFT's and totally nuts remapped to 380bhp (
the 135 is ok but only 2 door.
the rs4 would be ok but it looks really small in the back and my kids kick the back of my seat in the scooby.
i think the evo x looks quite subdued compared to the other ones and thats what i like.
