Default Evo has gone...

Sold it today, to a nice chap from the midlands. Nice easy sale, as soon as he saw the condition it was in, cash was handed over and no haggling

I will never find another one like it... it was perfection.

They are such good all round cars, all weather power was great and it was just a monster to drive.

I felt like I was growing out of it a bit, and it just wasn't getting used, plus I worried about it getting scratched / dented all the time. So... onwards and upwards!

Sad to see it driving off though

Oddly it really did Bharat.

I'm really pleased with where i've got the S2000 to, and I don't worry about it picking up the odd nock. It actually does all I need right now, and I can't justify having another car.

Having met MB in person - I can vouch for the fact he is not a spotty 19 years old oik- and therefore has no need to be in a Evo.

He still has a full head of hair - so a convertible is still OK.

Scott, I wish the image was a bit different! Actaully I don't think it's that bad and certainly not Subaru levels. I know a lot of older Evo owners, but the big wing and stuff always made me a bit self concious. One hand of me said sod what anyone thinks (esp when I noticed that Fracois Delacourt has one as a daily drive!) but on the other...

Mugen, yes I did thanks!

Billy, living up your way must have been great for it.

Pip, yep I did rather well on the sale I knew buying the right one might make me a bob or 2!

I have a short list Steven Really not sure what I want though, and will be a couple of months as i'm not going to be in the UK much til July time.

I'd like to try something exotic for a short stint (360 Modena has been heavily researched) or something silly fast like an R500. Who knows! Also really would like an AMV8 but not sure if i'm a bit young for an Aston?

But yep, it's burning a hole!
