Default Exige S - Whats the point

Had a blast in one today down some of my favourite local roads. Can't get out of my head though, this rear view mirror that just reminds you that you have a supercharger behind you, no more. WHO needs reminding that you have Darth Vader (SC) sucking above your head FFS.

THERE IS NOT REAR VIEW, thats it, Darth in all his Glory!

You have to use the side mirrors, no choice, that's it. I can only assume is some legal bull. Even the saleschap could not answer why. He was talking about fitting parking sensors as default.

Oh but, 220BHP out of a 820Kg car that sticks like the proverbial and kicks you in the nuts

Is it a legal thing? I.e. you need to have a rear view mirror, even if you can't actually see anything.

Can't be a legal thing, not all vans have them if the rear windows have been covered over..............I think

So Tango Man, are you thinking of swapping one for the S? What was it like to drive? I'd love a crack in one on some "private roads".

Its like comparing a Mini (BMW) with an S2000. Totally different cars.

you can see a bit out of them, ok mainly only lights at night through the tiny grills, but it does give you an tiny indication. During daylight you can see f all though.
