Me too, although I wouldn't insist on keeping that acutal car.
I'd get them to order what I asked for (plus some extras as compensation, or cash) and provide me with a vehicle of similar or better standard to drive for the next 3 months til it arrives.

As has been said, threaten to keep the current car while they source the correct one...
Act outraged when they try to take the car off you and insist on something of the same standard as the car you ordered while they source the correct one. Tell them it's that or taxis everywhere and they're paying
Continue to act outraged until they offer the courtesy vehicle and some other form of compensation. Only accept something useful like a free additional accessory on the car that you secretly wanted or some accessory that you can stick on eBay for a tidy profit Remember that any offer of free servicing will probably be tied to that "inspiring" dealership!
Turn it to your advantage - free car for 3 months with no depreciation or wear and tear, useful compensation accessory and a car three months younger when you get on the road properly

I would expect them to replace the car with the one you ordered, whilst letting you drive that one in the meantime! That should put the pressure on them to get it quicker than the 3 month lead..
A free service indeed!
