I don't remember them being that ugly in 1970!

Those side pods remind me of a cross old bag with her arms folded disapprovingly.

The front spoiler is something I made as a child (in 1970) out of leftover model kit parts.

What became of the engineering adage, "if it looks right, then it probably is"?

If it means more overtaking, then I could get used to what they look like.

What is more concerning is moving to a "medals" table to decide the Drivers World Championship.

I'm in the "love it" camp too.

A nice reference to a more exciting era... let's hope the racing follows the looks.

Looks like some kind of junior formula car.

But at least they're back on slicks.

I wonder if they'll all look like that, or if that's just BMW's interpretation? These things have a history of not being as an exact a specification as the rule makers intend.
