Default F1 - Abu Dhabi

Yes F1 is still going.

Anyone else watching? I'm not sure what to make of the circuit. The barriers are mostly quite close to the track, so I think it looks a lot like Valencia rather than one of the other new tracks with huge run offs.

The race is going to start in sunshine, and end in the dark, which should be interesting.

Hamilton and Button were fastest this morning.

I'm hoping for a good show (Button unleashed) now it's end of season with the titles already sorted and so many drivers still to finalise teams for next year.

I think the only places to sort at the moment are 2nd in the drivers between Vettel and Rubens, 3rd in the constructors between McLaren and Ferrari.

In theory Hamilton could be passed by Raikonnen for 5th/6th

Lewis would be champion based on the second half of the season alone.

As much as I'm pained to admit this, Lewis has REALLY impressed me this season. Some sterling drives, and he hasn't been in my face all the time.

Going to be very interesting if Kimi goes there next season.

Not sure what to make of the circuit for overtaking opportunities.
Apart from the car in front cocking it up and going wide.
I think this could be a procession.

Anyone else got a view?

Looks that way to us too Gas.

'er indoors said how much it looks like a computer game.

Once the boys go racing we might get something we can't see from here.

But the two top teams' members at P2 to P5 don't have much incentive to mix it?

I expect you're right. There's a long straight which might give the KERS boys a chance, but other than that the best chance is somebody falling off. Though they do seem to have been falling off a lot in practice and qualifying.

They need some hills. All the best circuits have them.
