Just finished watching the race on Sky+

After all his whinging in recent years I'd grown tired of JB.

But what can I say, he certainly grew a pair of bollox today.

Brilliant . I'm well chuffed for him and the whole team

Just a quick word for MW , and the debutant young Jap lad

Didn't see the Lewis incident tho

Good effort Button, well happy

Driver of the day for me has to be Kobayashi though. Look at Algesuari and Fisichella as two of the other drivers to jump into cars they didn't know this year. He was quick and very racey. Only made one nooby mistake (unfortunately it caused another driver to run wide and have a prang).

Rewatched the first section of the race and I reckon the complaints about weaving were just Brawn head games

I'm not sure he was quick. Unfortunately Trulli went out on the first lap so we didn't see how they compared, but Button was about to pull out 3 seconds in a few laps once he finally got past Kobayashi. But he certainly wasn't intimidated by the big names around him.

I don't think he did anything wrong either.

Well done BrawnGP and Jenson too!

I was quite surprised to see the usually ice cool Ross Brawn too choked up to speak when Kravitz was interviewing him.

The scrum in the Brawn garage when Jake and the team were chatting to JB was entertaining too.

Jake appeared to be strong arming some people holding microphones out of the way during the interview

I think the Button 3 seconds thing was purely down to Kobyashi heavily defending against Vettel.

He absolutely raced out of his skin and that is something you just don't see often. I think he'll get a drive!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

That's a proper F1 race, none of that Singapore/Valencia nonsense.

Nice one Jense.

I do hope this'll stop the BBC going on and on and on about the fairy tale that is Brawn, who 9 months ago didn't know blah di blah di blah....It's become at least as bad as ITV and Hamilton.

I'm not sure that's actually possible, although there was far too much calling him things like "incoming world champion" before the race was finished.
