Whether you agree with it or not, what gets me is why the teams can't disguise it better.

Surely all that it needs is something along the lines of:

Team to Teflonso: Go to mix 1
Team to Massa: Go to mix 3

Same effect without all this stupid 'he is faster than you' nonsense, although he'd still have to get past, but if one car's engine was pulled right back that shouldn't be so hard for a driver of Teflonso's supposed abilities.

$100000 fine is a joke for a team like Ferrari.

There should be only one driver per team, that is the only 'realistic' solution.

If it were a team sport why have a drivers championship and why make a rule prohibitting such action.
Its like self emplyed doing cash jobs, eveyone knows loads do it but occassionalyy some do it more blatantly than others and get caught out.

The most exciting part of the race was when Massa and Alonso were actually tussling for the lead. Of course Alonso thought all that racing was a but ridiculous....

The post race clap trap coming out of the Ferrari camp was frankly embarrassing. Rob Smedley was obviously reminded he was an employee of Ferrari but the outright b/s coming from Domenicali was insulting to the fans.

I particularly enjoyed Button's faux anticipation of seeing Alono's move on Massa.

Is it really a team sport? It's not like football where there's only a team championship, or like LeMans where several drivers work together in the same car. F1 has a team championship, and an individual championship. Although they may work together in developing the car, when it comes to racing it's not a team sport. You practically never see drivers helping out their team mates in any way on track.
The company makes all the money from where the team finishes, not the driver so as far as the team is concerned they couldn't GAF where the individual drivers finish (except for the marketing opportunities)

I wonder if Rob Smedley will be on the carpet at Ferrari HQ as the way he dealt with it was clearly designed to give the game away.

£250 ..thought it was something like that.£900 for Monaco?Whatever you wouldn't want to pay a fiver to see what happened today, not that you'd probably see it anyway. The paying customer sold short yet again.I don't know all the ins and outs of F1 but I want to see a genuine RACE.Perhaps asking too much.

Well, with Todt heading up Ferrari International Assistance these days a fine was the worst they were going to recieve.

Makes me wonder how the betting industry see all of this, race fixing I think they call it don't they.
