Will defo be watching, but have got to admit that I am totally bemused at the mo!! I love this sport and have as brought up on it but these last two years goings on have been mad, the other week Massa/Ferrari got away with the pit lane stuff, the Lewis gets the 25 sec pen this last race. I am sure that the FIA are scared stiff of another 10 year Schumi type dominance with Lewis that they will do what ever it takes to stop him. Soz bout that had to get it of my chest!!!!

if things don't go well for them, this could be the race when the Hamiltons pull the race card

they've been reaching for it for a while

although I suppose Lewis can only pull half a card

it's a perception

it'll be validated one way or the other eventually

I hope they don't do it

between them, they are detested far too much already

even if they are adored in possibly equal measure (another perception)

Ah!

You mean you made it up Pete!

It is clear from reading threads here that McLaren / Hamilton are detested in some quarters.

Certainly they are adored in others (Ryder & the Cock, for example)

I simply think Hamilton is the most exciting driver and, crucially, racer this country has produced for some considerable time.

He is young, he is full of himself (though many truly exceptional sportsmen/women have serious character flaws.......Best, Botham, Gascoigne, Schmacher, Senna, etc. etc.) but I like watching him driving a racing car, he is British...this is enough for me to want to see him do well.

I certainly don't adore him, but I do believe he is very talented and will win World Championships.

Indeed, I firmly believe he will win this years World Championship, despite the FIA & the clowns employed to steward races.

not made up, a gut feeling that I can't be arsed to analyse, although I recall (possibly erroneously) too many references to colour in earlier days

since Button?

it's not enough for me

me neither, and he should, but we shall see

I still don't think he will

Now Jenson I like as a person, and he is a great driver, but I am not convinced he is an exceptional 'racer'.

Too well balanced to be world champion in my book.
