Admittedly I was unaware of the convention! However, I had been following up on the beeb website so no harm done here!

Certainly a great race to watch - much more like it.

Delighted to see Jenson win in such style - his call to take on slicks so early.

Vettel doen't seem to be blessed with much natural good fortune!!!

BUT....I still see the fundamental problem which made the Bahrain race so dull - Hamilton, 2 sec's a lap quicker than the struggling red cars & he couldn't get past them.

I think any race without rain has the potential to be desperately dull.

Valencia could be a serious ordeal

Entertaining race to watch.

Interesting to see the contrast between Jensen and Hamilton come crunch time.

Grown up vs stroppy teenager?

When I turned the TV on and saw an umbrella I thought it was a good sign

So it all leaves the championship standings like this then. Despite the perception of Ferrari not having a good car for this race it's put them in a good position.

1 Fernando Alonso 37
2 Felipe Massa 33
3 Jenson Button 31
4 Lewis Hamilton 23
5 Nico Rosberg 20
6 Robert Kubica 18
7 Sebastian Vettel 12
8 Michael Schumacher 9
9 Vitantonio Liuzzi 8
10 Mark Webber 6
11 Rubens Barrichello 5

Really enjoyed the race. Such a contrast to the last race.

Good race. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Right up until Hamilton caught Alonso and couldn't overtake when normal, no overtaking, service resumed.

It won't even be worth watching the highlights at valencia. I predict that, other than the start, the pit stops and the finish, absolutely nothing will happen.
