that's not the connection..

Flav and Bernie are business partners.. and the technical director of F1.. Mr Charlie "monaco" whiting" is Bernie's ex-mechanic.. and he decides if a car is legal or illegal..

Aren't we forgetting that McLaren were also found guilty and also received no penalty when they convinced a jury that they hadn't used Ferrari data?

Sounds fair to me.

I can see it now, the report will read as follows:

"Due to the fact that the 2007/2008 McLaren cars have 4 wheels, an engine, gearbox, exhausts, a steering wheel and somewhere for the driver to sit, the FIA has concluded that all of these ideas were stolen from Ferrari and incorporated into the design of the McLaren. The FIA has therefore decided to award Ferrari the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Constructors Championship and McLaren will be fined $50bn. In addition, Ron Dennis' wife will be handed over to the Ferrari mechanics for their own personal use."

Oh and can I have her when they're done? I've always wanted to bum her twice in the face.

There we go then, Alonso will be back at Renault next year.

Time for anyone who's not got a confirmed drive next year to find one sharpish!

[B]Renault would not confirm the length or value of the contract, although there are reports Alonso will earn

Well that's a shock.

I think he was just using Red Bull and Toyota as a bargaining tool to get a better deal from Renault.
