Any idea if Honda had been using this "mass damping" device just declared illegal? Does it mean that Renault are no longer competitive?
Alonso hopes hit by court ruling
Anyway, with Schumacher only 10 points behind, does make the season interesting. Plus Button finally getting a win for Honda has given an added sparkle. Might just watch it this Sunday.

Honda didn't have it - I think Red Bull did, not sure which other teams.
Also read that Alonso had a crash with Doornbos in practice - was this the guy he brake tested in practice at last race and got time penalty for?

Didn't Ferrari have the mass damper thingy too? But it was Renault that made it work the best and designed the car around it. Or at least that's the popular theory to explain their recent drop in form.

I think the FIA have lost their mind. What the hell are they doing? A mass damper is an aerodynamic device? Stupid ****ers.
Plus it sounds like exactly the sort of innovation F1 ought to be exploring.

If Renault lose out on account of this, it will be a scandal.

Don't you think the FIA were just concerned Renault were going to cream Ferrari again this year, and they wanted a closer race for the title, esp when it could (but sadly won't) be MS's last year?
who killed Kennedy?
