Sad, but I wonder if the rear spoiler on a FWD car had anything to with it.

I certainly have; and was bombed along it by parents and relatives when a child as my mum comes from Llangollen and I still have family in Ruabon and Chirk.

A stunning drive in good weather - unpredictable at best when it's a bit greasy (and being North Wales, it often is)
