Default Ferrari 458

As a rule, I've never been particularly fussed by Ferrari's. Yes, some of them are quite nice but I don't think any of them have "rocked my world" so to speak.

Until Friday.

I was trundling through Knutsford on my way home from work and there was a 458 waiting to pull out of a side road. My word, what a beautiful looking car in the flesh.

I flashed to let him out in front of me and he did the decent thing and nailed it.

The skin on my arms and neck stood on end and I got tingles all over.

Blimey, it was like being 10 and stumbling across your first porn mag behind a hedge at the park.

Oh and no front number plate from what I could see. Wonder how he gets away with that?

Amazing cars, i've been lucky enough to have a couple go past me, both times i've backed right off, stereo off and windows down to enjoy the noise as it flies past

I've always figured, if they can afford to buy, tax & insure a car like that, the fine for not having a plate is nothing to them so don't bother putting one on. Also, I assume the police must think the same thing so don't make the effort to pull them as they know the owners won't care, pay it and continue to run without one!

I'm quite lucky that I've got Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche dealerships just up the road from my work, so I see all the new models getting taken out quite regularly on test drives

The 458 is a beautiful machine in the flesh!

A lot of NSX owners have found the front number plates have fallen off their cars.

Bracket must be very poorly engineered

Plate lives in boot incase the police ask - has never happened to the best of my knowledge.

I agree, the 458 is a glorious looking (and sounding) thing.

458's are awesome. I was lucky enough to drive one at Bruntingthorpe a few weeks ago. Handling and power delivery are astonishing
